Viña Maitia Maitia 2016

This 100% old vine Carignan is from the San Javier region of the Maule. The nose explodes with raspberry, herbal notes, and eucalyptus with an almost Fernet and gamey quality. Cassis licor, almond paste, hazelnuts, sage, rosemary, and hints of smoked meats and duck linger on the palate. The finish is long with brigth acid and lingering notes of berry compote and wild animal.
